General Sales Conditions for Online Store

a) Product Catalog:
We work daily to provide correct and up-to-date information on the Online product catalog, but we cannot always fully guarantee it. When exceptionally discrepancies occur between the information provided on the website about a particular product and the actual characteristics of the same, the customer is entitled to terminate the contract with refund of all amounts paid.

 

Similarly, the prices shown may also be subject to errors of presentation so that if at the time of shipment of your order is detected a difference, we will inform you.
If the actual price is lower than advertised, we will return the difference and if it is higher, we offer you the option to accept or not the new proposal.

 

The offer of products in the Online Store is independent from our physical stores and therefore does not always match.
In case of unavailability of a product, you will be informed of the cancellation of your order and will be entitled to a refund of all amounts paid for the out-of-stock order.

 

Pollux S.A. reserves the right to change, without prior notice, the prices of products or any other content of this website.



b) Stock Management Policy:
We try to constantly keep our product offering updated on our website through daily stock management. However, due to the impossibility of guaranteeing 100% real time updating of our stocks, all orders are subject to physical stock confirmation.



c) Pricing & Promotions Policy:
The prices and promotions applied to the products in your order will be those indicated on the website at the time you make your purchase/order, regardless of offers or promotions existing on the day of order delivery.

 

All sale prices shown are in euros () and include VAT at the legal rate in force.
All prices in force in our online store are limited to existing stock, including temporary promotional discount campaigns and those marked with “before” and “now”" prices. All orders placed by our online customers are subject to physical confirmation of stock due to the impossibility of ensuring the full update in real time of the online platform.

 

d) Pickup and/or Delivery of orders:

You can choose to pick up your order at one of our stores or receive it through a Pollux partner carrier. If you choose to pick up your order at a store, you will receive an email from us confirming that your order is already available at that address. In case of a pickup in a Pollux store, the availability of the products may take up to 5 to 8 days in case of out-of-stock in the chosen store, because we have to transfer the goods internally. In the case of shipping by carrier, the stock is managed in the entire store/warehouse and therefore a faster shipping process to the address indicated by the client at purchase.

If the customer chooses to pick up their order at a Pollux store, the customer has a period of 45 days to pick up the items in the store from the date on which the availability of the order at the chosen store was confirmed. If the customer does not pick up the items or communicates a new date to do so, Pollux will no longer be responsible for storing the order.

In either situation, the customer will have to check the items at the time of delivery or pickup regarding not manufacturing or operational defects but the physical state of the order delivery. If carrier delivers the order, you should always mention "goods subject to inspection" if you do not open the order in the presence of the courier to highlight the fact that there are breaks in transport. Without this note in the carrier's bill, the carrier is not responsible for damages or breaks occurred during transport, a situation that makes it impossible for Pollux to claim from the carrier and consequently to replace articles broken in transport to the client.

 

e) Customer Data:

It is your responsibility, to make true, accurate, current and complete indications regarding your own person, to take care of the respective data and to make immediate updates, ensuring its authenticity, timeliness and integrity.

You are also responsible for the security of your password, assigned by this website for the purpose of purchasing products or for other purposes.

Pollux S.A. assumes no responsibility for the unauthorized use of passwords.

 

f) Delivery/Contact Address:

Please correctly indicate the address for delivery, where someone must be present to pick up the order.

It is mandatory to provide a contact phone number, to be used by the carrier in case of need.

The price of shipping charges includes only one delivery, so if the order is returned by the carrier because of incorrect or non-existent address or absent recipient, the customer will have to pay new shipping charges.

 

g) Methods of payment:

One of the payment options must be chosen when placing the order.

If you wish to change your payment method, you will need to place a new order and choose the new payment option. Different payment deadlines apply depending on the payment chosen method. In the event of non-payment within the stipulated period, the order will be automatically canceled within a maximum of 48 hours, thus becoming cancelled.

i) Warranty:

The warranty is provided under the terms and conditions established by the manufacturer of the equipment in question.

After the warranty period, as well as in those situations in which the warranty is removed due to the verification of a cause for the exclusion of the same, the costs inherent to any technical repairs will be at the customer's expense.

To enjoy the warranty of the products purchased, you should keep the invoice delivered upon receipt of your order.

 

i) Exchanges and Returns

The request for exchange or return of a product must be communicated to Pollux SA preferably by email to lojaonline.apoiocliente@pollux.pt within 14 days and will only be accepted if the product is returned within 30 days from the date of receipt of order and if it is in the exact sales condition, with original packaging in perfect condition.
